Error Messge: can't find My_ContactsAccess 3 Years, 6 Months ago
I am following the tutorial and executed the commands:
suneido -load mylib
suneido -load mycontacts
suneido -load mybook

After I start Suneido workspace, I go to "IDE -> Open a Book -> mybook". The book opens, but when I click the "Edit My Contacts" tab, I get the following message:

SuneidoAPP(suneido:/mybook/Edit My Contacts) => can't find My_ContactsAccess

Additionally, I get this message when I click the "Print My Contacts" tab:

SuneidoAPP(suneido:/mybook/Print My Contacts) => can't find My_ContactsReport

So far, I have no idea how to fix this. I looked around the documentation but could not find anything to point me in the right direction.

I should mention, I got the same message on a personal project I am creating. But in my project, the book worked fine when I opened it from the Suneido workspace, but produced similar errors to those listed above when I ran the project from the command line.

Hi, this happens because you have to 'use' the library mylib that you have imported from command line.
To do this you can go in LibraryView -> File -> Use Library -> mylib.

After this the book will work well. ;)

P.S.: in the 'User's Manual -> Getting Started -> Create a Library' section there is this note:
Note: if you loaded in the supplied mylib, just choose Use Library from the File menu and select mylib from the list.

Hi Mauro,

Thanks for you suggestion. I followed the "LibraryView -> File -> Use Library -> mylib" command.

But now when I run "suneido mylib" from the command prompt, I get a popup button with the following:
error evaluating: mylib
(uninitalized variable: mylib)

I have a feeling I am overlooking something obvious, but cannot seem to figure it out. Any ideas?

You cannot open a lib from commandline. :blink:
If you want to open the example book 'mybook' from commandline, then you have to create first a PersistentSet.
It's all written in the User's Manual in 'Getting Started -> Running Standalone'.
