TOPIC: Data Execution Prevention and Suneido

Data Execution Prevention and Suneido 4 Years, 6 Months ago
Hi, recently I decided to enable Data Execution Prevention in my WinXP-SP2, because I have a CPU with 'no execute page protection' feature. But I have discovered that suneido.exe won't run if DEP feature is enabled. Why Suneido is not working with DEP enabled? Maybe there are some Suneido functions that have to write into instruction locations, instead of data locations?

P.S.: good work for the new site style, but the forum posts are all of the same background color (white). In the old forum the posts had alternate background color. For the characters font I would prefer black color on white background, instead of gray on white (it's not a good contrast on my notebook lcd). ;)

We also discovered the DEP problem. It is because the DLL interface builds callback functions in memory. It will be fixed for the next release (to specifically allocate executable memory).

I'll talk to our web guy about the colors.
