Suneido is awesome, thanks for such a great application.

I was immediately impressed by Suneido's relatively clean syntax. I found the language quite pleasant
In all, so far Suneido seems to be one of the most suitable scripting languages I've seen.

I have to say that I love this language! I have programmed in many,
many languages but none that I have liked for database programming more
than Suneido!
Jeremy Cowgar
I'm an experienced
C++ (and other things) programmer currently working as a senior systems
architect; I've recently started using Suneido and find it to be
amazingly useful,
Having recently discovered Suneido, I was
pleased to find a modern, interesting language situated in a development
environment reminiscent of the very productive code browsers of
Smalltalk and (occasionally) Lisp systems. Outstanding!
Thanks
for a great tool! It's generating a great deal of enthusiasm with the
people I've been showing it to, and we're planning to use it to do some
web testing pretty soon. As the local XP mentor, I'm using it to
demonstrate XP ideas to people who've always been a little suspicious of
the "ask the code" idea because their tools don't let them do that
easily. It's working out very well.
Greg DeLozier
I just downloaded Suneido and began to play with it; I must say I'm excited--it looks like a wonderful tool.
Al Witz
I played this weekend with Suneido, and this rocks. I like the
integrated solution idea, because I hate those environments/components
which don't work together
Jos van Roosmalen
Suneido really seems to be right solution for me.. and I think it is the
right solution for everyone who wants to write powerful code with a
free platform!

The support from this forum
is super. I am a member of many forums but have never received the kind
of help which is available here anywhere else.
The end program
file size is also a good point. One thing I hate about Java programming
is that when you want to deliver something you have to deliver a load of
huge files with the software to get the thing working properly. Suneido
keeps everything nice and small which is super.
Suneido seems
to have developed into a really useful program. I am happy to say I have
been able to use it to develop applications for internal use in my
company and after nearly 3 weeks of active use have not run into any
trouble with it. Congratulations on a job well done!
Andrew Price
Suneido is indeed an impressive product and a credit to its developers.

Let me say that I think Suneido is a masterpiece of design work, and I
have been enamored of it since I ran across it last year. I've shown it
to a lot of people and we're grateful to have it
First, I'd like to mention that I remain very impressed by the quality and usefulness of the software system ...
I've programmed in literally dozens of languages and taught programming
in quite a few of them, including Lisp, Scheme, Smalltalk, and Prolog,
so the ability to program in a language that has some awareness of the
power of these languages, and the paradigms they represent, is quite a
treat. The language is far too good to ignore.
I see in Suneido
a serious effort (perhaps the first in ages) to create a language that
combines the expressive power of dynamically bound symbolic languages
with a familiar and comfortable syntax. That's a goal worthy of
pursuing.
It remains an awesome achievement, and you have my
gratitude for coming as close to programming Nirvana as I've encountered
so far. I'm excited about the future of Suneido.
Greg Delozier
My compliments on a wonderful product. I've been coding information
systems since 1980 in everything from Dbase II to Python and Suneido is
the best tool I've ever seen for this purpose.
Dave Warner
Suneido has certainly got my attention, after seeing the link earlier today on www.ddj.com
As an Information Systems academic who wrote his first program in 1960,
I think it fills a real need for college students and their professors,
currently drowning in the profusion of applications development
software tools.
John Byrne
Congratulations, it's
jaw-dropping stuff. I don't get enough time to myself, but you've
motivated me to drag a couple of old application ideas out of the
closet.
Again, congratulations. However many years you spent on
building Suneido, they were well spent - whatever it felt like at the
time.
Geoff Kemmish
The ability to deploy Suneido
applications as Standalone or Client-Server is a giant step forward. I
cannot say enough about how much trouble this would have saved me in the
past.
Terrence Monroe Brannon
It has a nice
solid feel to it. It is extensible. Everything is source code available.
Built in database is nice. There are some very nice concepts well
implemented. And the client/server over TCP/IP capability is great.
Congratulations to all of you. A very impressive accomplishment for a
0.9 release of a complete new environment and language. I have being
doing this since 1975 and have not come across an environment that just
invites you to come on in and code like this. I will continue reading
the documentation and stdlib (there is a lot there) and learn a bit more
by trying out the language. There are some very interesting new
concepts in your language.

I
have to admit that I downloaded Suneido because I was skeptic, I
couldn't believe what I saw in the online docs so I wanted to try it.
After only 5 minutes I realized its strength ... I think I'm gonna love
Suneido.
I first thought it's something like Python or TK but
it's a lot more, it's more powerful and more easy and more. I'll
advertise Suneido, I'll tell all my friends about Suneido and I know
some people who really asked me if there is such thing ... now I know
there is and its name is Suneido.

My
project was successfully completed, The people are really looking
forward to working with the new database that was written. I was really
pleased with the simplicity of the Reporter tool as were the end users. I
found it provided enough functionality without being overly technical.
